A monster makes a unique valentine card - he is rather cute though
I absolutely love the Monster Love stamp and die set by Concord & 9th and it makes a great valentine card. I was going to make it red based because that's how most valentine cards are made, however after colouring the monster blue, grey for the base card seemed more appropriate and I think it really works.

You will need
- Monster Love stamp and die set by Concord & 9th
- Grey card
- White card
- Stamping aid (I use the stamparatus by stampin up)
- Versamark ink pad
- Black ink pad
- Colouring medium of your choice (I used Promarkers - denim blue, cool grey3 and satin)
- Double sided foam pads
- Cut the grey card 21 cm by 10 . 5 cm and fold in half to create a C6 card base
- Using the Versamark inkpad, stamp 'Love you', from the Monster Love stamp set, over the front of the base card
- Using your stamping aid, place in some white card and using black ink, Stamp the horned monster. Do not take the card out but instead line up the heart with fingers stamp as if the monster was holding it over his tummy. Stamp it with black ink. Then stamp 'you're the cutest' words into the heart.
- Colour in the monster and cut him out using the Monster Love die set
- Put double sided foam pads onto the back of the monster and stick him to the left lower side of the card base.
