Use Lawn Fawn's Reveal Wheel flower add on dies to make these cute little lollipop gifts
With Easter coming up, I thought these would make lovely little gifts. You can easily make a few to create a flowerpot of flowers.
I bought a packet of lollipops from my local cheap store. I've made two types of flowers, one on round lollipops and another sort on flat lollipops. I'll show you how to make the basic lollipop flowers below and then you can decorate them to your hearts content.
Follow the below link to find out how the flowers were made
You will need
- Small amounts of white and coloured card
- Reveal Wheel Circle Add on Flower and Sun die set by Lawn Fawn
- Reveal Wheel Tulip Add-On die set by Lawn Fawn
- Glue
- Lollipop's
- Die cutting machine
To make the basic round lollipop flower:
- Die cut 3 flowers from the Reveal Wheel Circle Add on Flower and Sun die set from white card
- Die cut two leaves from the Reveal Wheel Tulip Add-on die set from green card
- Put a small amount of glue on the back of two adjacent petals of one of the die cut flowers
- Stick another flower to it. Let the glue dry a little then bend the flowers apart from each other. The lollipop will go in between the two flowers.
- Put a small amount of glue on the back of the petals as shown in the below photo with the black arrows. Put glue on both flowers, then stick the third flower to these two flowers to form a cover for the lollipop. You may have to hold it for a short while, whilst the glue dries.
- Put glue on the back of one of the leaves. Stick it to the lollipop stick and then stick the other leaf to the back of it encasing part of the lollipop stick
To make the flat lollipop flower:
- Die cut one flower from yellow card
- Put a small line of glue around the back of the flower centre circle hole and place it on the lollipop wrapper
- Die cut one leaf from green card and glue it to the lollipop stick
You can make all different colour flowers and use different colour lollipops for the centres. You can then start to add extra decorations such as stamped, coloured and cut out butterflies or little gems.
I put a piece of polystyrene into a flower pot and covered with brown tissue paper. The lollipop flowers can be pushed into the polystyrene to create a flowerpot of flowers.
