Make this beautiful card with just a few items from your craft stash
I love using pretty papers to make cards and this one is just fab.
I've used some blossom paper from a scrapbooking pad called 'Soft Romance' by Craft Sensations. You can use any pretty flower paper you have in your stash. I've used a small flower die to cut the flowers as this matches the size of the flowers on the paper. You may want to try different flowers to see which ones look best.
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Floral decorative paper (I used a sheet from 'Soft Romance' scrapbooking pad by Craft Sensations)
- 3 shades of pink card (or whatever complements your floral paper)
- Small amount of white card
- A6 white base card
- 1 . 5 cm diameter flower die
- 5 . 5 cm by 2 cm rectangle die (or a size that fits your greeting stamp)
- Small clear gems
- Shaping tool and mat
- Happy anniversary stamp (Mine came from 'Beautiful Bouquet' by Stampin Up)
- Pink ink pad
- Glue
- Die cutting machine
- Cut a rectangle from your floral paper to 14 cm high by 9 . 5 cm wide and glue centrally to the base card
- Die cut little flowers from the various shades of pink card - I cut 12 in total but it will depend how big your floral die is
- Use the shaping tool and mat to shape the flowers into bowl like shapes
The left flower has been shaped - Glue them to your base card (Leave a gap down the right hand side for your greeting rectangle to fit - see step 8)
- Add a little gem to the centre of each flower
- Using the pink ink pad, stamp your greeting onto some white card
- Use the rectangle die to cut out the greeting
- Glue the greeting rectangle to the lower right hand side of the floral paper on the base card
