Just a Note to Say

 

Use Lawn Fawns Critter Concert stamp and die set to make this musical themed greeting card



I've combined two stamp and die sets to make this card - Lawn Fawns Critter Concert and Lawn Fawns Window Frame sets.

The window set was used to make the stage but if you do not have this die set, then either cut by hand or just frame the rectangle with a decorative rectangle frame

You will need
  • Critter Concert stamp and die set by Lawn Fawn
  • Window Frame die set by Lawn Fawn
  • Pink patterned card/paper (I used a sheet from Stampin Up's 'Best Dressed' 6x6 Designer Paper Pack)
  • Dark Pink, grey and white card
  • Black ink pad
  • Colouring medium of your choice (I use Promarker pens - Cool grey 2, 3, 4, Sandstone, cinnamon, caramel, walnut, pumpkin, honeycomb, oatmeal, ivory, mustard, tulip yellow and artic blue)
  • Die cutting machine
  • Stamping aid - optional to help with placement of greeting stamps (I use the Stamparatus by Stampin up)
  • Glue and double sided foam pads

  1. Using black ink onto white card, stamp all 5 critters, the music stand, music book, tamborine, batton and bow tie. Colour them in and die cut them out

  2. Die cut the bottom edge of the window die onto grey card. Trim as per the below photo's to make a stage for your critters

    Trim the die cut so it looks like a step


  3. Using the curtains and pelmet dies from the window frame die set, cut from dark pink card

  4. Cut a rectangle from light pink card measuring 11 cm wide by 8 . 5 cm tall

  5. Glue the pelmet centrally to the top of the light pink rectangle so their top edges align

  6. Glue the grey stage to the lower egde of the light pink rectangle so it is central but hanging off the bottom of the pink rectangle by a small amount

  7. Glue the left hand curtain to the left edge of the rectangle making sure the left and top edges align

  8. Glue the right hand curtain to the right side of the rectangle, matching it's right edge with edge of retcangle

  9. Glue a square of pink patterned paper to the front of a 5" square card base

  10. Stamp the two lines of greeting using black ink straight onto the card front - 'Just a note to say...' at the top and 'Hope you have an awesome day' at the bottom

  11. Glue your pink rectangle with stage and curtains to the centre of the base card

  12. Glue the bear to the left hand side of the stage and the owl to the right hand side

  13. Now glue the music stand central

  14. Glue the batton and tamborine to the birds hands.  Also glue his bow tie on

  15. Add the racoon, fox, bird and book to the stage using double sided foam pads

  16. Using black ink, stamp some musical notes in the light pink area
    Stamp musical notes to the background of the pink rectangle




Your card is now complete.
