Make this pretty greeting card of flowers in a cup by using Lawn Fawns Stitched Teacup die set
I've used a small die set by Lawn Fawn called Stitched Teacup and filled it with flowers to create this card.
You can use any teacup die or even cut one by hand and can choose any flowers or leaves to fill your cup. The beauty of making your own cards is that you can alter them to your recipients favourite colors etc.
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Lawn Fawn's Stitched Teacup die
- Two nesting circle dies - the larger one about 9 cm in diameter and the smaller one about 7 . 5 cm
- Leaf die
- White, green and dark pink card
- 3 matching patterned card
- 5 small pink gems
- Rounding corner punch
- White Happy Birthday peel off
- Guillotine with cutting and scoring blade
- Die cutting machine
- Glue and double sided foam pads
- Cut a piece of white card to 21 cm by 10 . 5 cm. Score and fold in half to create a square base card
- Glue a piece of pink patterned card to the front of the base card
- Use the rounding corner punch to round each corner of the base card
- Using the two circle dies, cut each one out of different patterned pink card
- Glue the smaller circle to the lower part of the larger circle
- Glue the circles to the base card towards the bottom half of the card
- Die cut 5 green leaves, 5 white flowers and a teacup from the dark pink card
- Thread the leaves through the top of the teacup, turn it over and tape the leaf stems to the back of the cup
- When you turn the teacup back to the right side, you may find some of the leaves are showing down the sides of the teacup (see the first photo below where a leaf is sticking out from the left side of the teacup). Just trim any of these leaves away.
- Die cut a flower from one of the pink patterned papers used to die cut the circles
- Glue the pink flower to the centre front of the cup
- Glue the 5 white flowers to the the leaves
- Use double sided foam pads to attach the cup to the card front so it sits centrally in the smaller circle
- Glue a pink gem to the centre of each white flower
- Stick a Happy Birthday peel off greeting to a piece of dark pink card and cut it out in a rectangle shape. Round the left hand edges using the rounding corner punch
- Glue the greeting to the top right hand edge of the base card
