Make this stylish butterfly greeting card using Stampin Up's Butterfly Gala stamp and punch set
Sometimes the simplest cards have the most impact and I think this little butterfly card is just that
I've stamped butterflies but actually you could have any little stamped and die cut image and any patterned background paper
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Butterfly Gala stamp and punch set by Stampin Up
- Happy Birthday stamp (I used one from Sweet Ice Cream stamp set by Stampin Up)
- Floral patterned paper (I used a sheet from Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper by Stampin Up)
- Rectangle die about 8 . 5 cm by 6 . 5 cm (Just cut a rectangle using a guillotine if you do not have a die)
- Red ink pad (I used Cherry Cobler by Stampin Up)
- White card
- Guillotine with cutting and scoring blades
- Glue and double sided foam pads
- Cut the white card to 21 cm by 10 . 5 cm and score at 10 . 5 cm to make a square base card
- Using the red ink pad, stamp Happy Birthday to the bottom of the card base
- Use the rectangular die to cut out a rectangle from the floral patterned paper. Glue it to the base card towards the top
- Using the red ink pad, stamp two butterflies onto white card. Use the punch to cut out
- Use double sided foam pads to attach the two butterflies to the patterned paper on the front of the base card
