Learn to make an anniversary card using 'Bloom and Grow' stamp set by Stampin Up
The Bloom and Grow stamp set by Stampin Up has 3 large floral stamps to choose from when making this card. I chose the rose one for my card but they would each work equally as well.
The stamps are quite detailed, so I was a little worried how to colour it in. However it was ok, just colour the leaves then work on each type of flower in turn and you'll soon have it coloured in !
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Bloom and Grow stamp set by Stampin Up
- Happy Anniversary greeting stamp (I used one from Beautiful Bouquet stamp set by stampin up)
- Stitched scalloped border dies by Lawn Fawn
- Black ink pad
- Colouring medium of your choice (I used Promarker pens - Blossom, dusky rose, moss, buttercup and lavendar)
- White and pink card
- 4 small pink gems
- Guillotine with cutting and scoring blades
- Die cutting machine
- Stamping aid - not essential but helps with placement of stamps (I use Stamparatus by Stampin Up)
- Ruler
- Glue
- Cut a piece of pink card to 5 inches by 10 inches and score in half to create a square tent card base
- Cut a piece of white card to 5 inches wide by about 6 inches long
- Stamp the rose bouquet using black ink onto the strip of white card cut out in step 2
- Colour in the stamp
- Use the stitched scalloped border die to cut above the stamped image
- Use the same border die to cut beneath the stamped image to create a retcangle banner. Use a ruler to ensure the banner is of even width. (I used a small amout of washi tape to hold the die in place, at the right hight, as I run it through the die cutting machine)
- Glue the banner to the front of the base card but slightly more towards the top
- Stamp the anniversary greeting using black ink below the banner. I used the stamping aid to ensure that I lined the greeting up
- Glue a pink gem to the centre of the main rose and the other 3 below the greeting
