Use Lawn Fawns camping stamp and die sets to make this greeting card for those who love the outdoors
We bought a campervan last year to get out and explore a little more. This love of the outside can be seen in this really cute card made using some stamp and die sets by Lawn Fawn.
This card does require a few stamp and die sets to make but I can invisage how many other uses the dies will have. The tent can be a childs play tent or for those going to a gig in the forest or maybe a moving away or new house card. The forest background can be used for star gazing cards or maybe scenery for picnic cards. As crafters we have to make sure stamp and die sets are multipurpose!
It was really fun building this scene up and because you make it yourself, you can change any of the colours or characters to reflect the recipients preferences

- Use the forest backdrop die to cut the main piece from navy card

- Cut 2 large and 2 small trees using the Forest Backdrop die set from green card from the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper pack. Glue them over the trees on the navy forest backdrop piece
- Cut a rectangle from white card measuring 28 cm by 10 . 8 cm and fold in half to create the base card
- Cover the front of the base card with starry paper
- Use the Forest Backdrop die to cut a dome from dark green card (measuring about 5 cm high at the highest part of the dome). Glue this to the front of the base card to create a hill
- Cut the tent pieces out of red and patterned red card (from the 'Watercolor Wishes Rainbow' paper pack) using the dies from the Build a Campsite die set. Glue the pieces together
- Glue the tent to the top of the hill on the front of the base card
- Stamp using black ink onto white card - the hedgehog, fox, campfire, marshmallow packet, marshmallow on a stick and the loose marshmallows (all from S'more the Merrier stamp set). Colour them in and die cut out
- Glue the marshmallow on a stick to the back of the fox so it looks like he is holding it

- Attach the navy forest background piece to the base card using double sided foam pads
- Glue the marshmallow packet and loose marshmallows to the bottom of the card base between the trees
