Make a cute birthday card for any of those dog lovers out there
I have used Lawn Fawns Furry and Bright stamp and die set to make this card. It's actually meant to be a Christmas themed stamp set but this just shows you, that you can use some of your stamp sets for many occaisions.
My originally version of this card turned out to be just brown and beige so I injected a little colour with some coloured gems and bows on the bones.
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Furry and Bright stamp and die sets by Lawn Fawn
- Say What? Pets stamp set by Lawn Fawn
- Brown spots decorative paper (I used a sheet from a scrapbooking paper pack called Nature at Heart by Craft Sensations)
- White card
- Brown and black ink pads
- Colouring medium of your choice (I used promarker pens - cinnamon, sadle brown, baby pink, cool grey1, cool aqua and lime green)
- 5 cm circle die
- Tiny blue and green gems
- Glue and double sided foam pads
- Die cutting machine
- Guillotine with cutting and scoring blades
- Cut a piece of white card to 25 cm by 17 . 5 cm and fold in half to create your tent base card
- Cut a piece of brown spot card to 9 cm high by 17 . 5 cm wide
- Using the brown ink pad stamp the 'Have A Pawsome Birthday' greeting at the bottom right of the base card
- Using the same brown ink pad and the paw stamp from the Say What? Pets stamp set, stamp lots of paws on the bottom and top edge of the base card.
- Glue the brown spot card to the front of the base card
- Stamp the three dogs using the black ink pad onto white card. Make sure they are a little spread out so you can use the 5 cm circle die to cut around each of them
- Colour in your dogs and use the 5 cm circle die to cut out
- Use double sided foam pads to attach the dog circles to the front of the base card equally spaced ontop of the brown spot card
- Stamp two bones from the Furry and Bright stamp set onto white card using the black ink pad
- Colour in the ribbon on the bone and die cut out
- Put three small blue gems to one dogs neck to represent a collar and three small green ones to one of the other dogs.
- Attach the bones to the card using double sided foam pads
