Make this super simple card by using an already coloured image by Lili of the Valley
Maybe you are new to crafting or you do not have alot of craft stash to hand, or maybe you just need a really quick card. Then pre coloured and downloadable images are the answer. They are normally fairly cheap and you can download it immediately and print, as and when you need them (saves on having to physically store them too!). For the card this week I have used an image I have downloaded from Lili of the Valley:
I have stamped a greeting on the top of the image or you could just add a peel off or write your greeting. It's then just a case of layering onto a base card with another colour of card.
Follow the below link to find out how the card was made
You will need
- Born to shop image form Lili of the Valley (cost £2.99 when I bought it - can be downloaded here)
- Rectangle die 11 . 5 x 8 cm die (or cut using a guillotine or scissors)
- Grey rectangle of card/paper measuring 14 x 10 cm (I used a piece of dark grey pearlescence card to give a little sparkle but any colour card that may go with the image)
- White A6 base card
- Happy birthday stamp or peel off (I used a stamp from the 'all the party hats' stamp set by Lawn Fawn)
- Red ink pad (I used rose red by stampin up)
- Glue or double sided tape
- Die cutting machine (only needed if you use the rectangle die)
- Download and print the Born to Shop image (I used the page that had 4 images on). Die cut using the rectangle die
- Use the red ink pad and the Happy Birthday stamp to stamp the greeting to the top edge of the image you die cut out in step 1.
- Glue the grey rectangle of card/paper to the centre of the base card.
- Glue the Born to Shop image centrally on the grey card
This is the completed card. You could easily add extra decoration by gluing on flowers, bows or gems.
